• If the app version is outdated, it shows an “Update required” screen with a link to the store — data on the phone is kept.

• New sync: only changes are sent, offline edits arrive later, deletions sync, and name, weight and goals are no longer lost. Apple Health steps go through it too.
• Finances now use the same model as the web, so the balance and funds match on every device. Old data was migrated automatically.
